- Atom - the smallest component of an element having the chemical properties of the element
- Nitrogen - a colorless, odorless, gaseous element that constitutes
about four-fifths of the volume of the atmosphere
- Hydrogen - a colorless, odorless, flammable gas that combines chemically with oxygen to form water
- Ignite - to set on fire
- Nitrogen fixation - any natural or industrial process that causes free nitrogen
- Catalyst - a substance that causes or accelerates a chemical reaction without itself being affected
- Equilibrium - equal balance between any powers
- Ammonia hydroxide - solution of ammonia gas in water
- Osmium - a hard, heavy, metallic element having the greatest density of the known elements
- Uranium - a white, lustrous, radioactive, metallic element
- Crystalline - like crystal, clear, transparent
- Dilute - to make a liquid thinner or weaker by the addition of water
- Concentrate (solution) - a strong solution that contains a large amount of solute
- Nitric acid - a colorless or yellowish, fuming, suffocating, caustic, corrosive, water-soluble liquid
- Boiling point - the temperature at which the vapour pressure of a liquid is equal to the pressure of the atmosphere on the liquid
- Freezing point - the temperature at which a liquid freezes
- Pungent - sharply affecting the organs of taste or smell
- Manufacture - the making of goods or wares by manual labour or by machinery, especially on a large scale
- Atm - atmosphere(s)
- High-pressure - having or involving a pressure above normal
- Metric ton - a unit of 1000 kilograms
- Methane - a colourless, odorless, flammable gas
